Coronavirus cases rise above 40,000
As of Sunday night, the government said a total of 40,171 cases have been confirmed and 908 people have died in the country.
L Brands nears sale of Victoria’s Secret to Sycamore Partners
L Brands is nearing a deal to sell its Victoria’s Secret brand to private equity firm Sycamore Partners in a deal that could be announced as soon this week.

Simon Property Group to buy Taubman Centers in $3.6 billion deal
U.S. shopping centers owner Taubman Centers agreed to be bought by larger peer Simon Property Group in a deal valued at $3.6 billion, the companies said on Monday.
Under terms of the deal, Simon will aquire all of Taubman’s common stock for $52.50 a share.
Tesla shares rise again
Apple may postpone the launch of a cheaper iPhone due to the coronavirus, according to published reports in China.

Allergen announces earnings beat on profit and revenue
Allergen reported quarterly earnings of $5.22 per share, compared to estimates of $4.57 a share. Revenue also beat Wall Street forecasts, helped by better-than-expected specialized therapeutics and general medicine sales.
