Markets Open Down 2%, Giving Back Chunk of Yesterday's Gains
The DJIA dropped about 733 points at the open. The S&P 500 dropped 2.1%, while the Nasdaq Composite traded 2.3% lower.
New York City confirms two new cases of coronavirus contracted through community spread
"There are two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York City. One new patient is a man in his 40s, and one new patient is a woman in her 80s.
Neither patient has a connection to travel nor any of the other local individuals diagnosed with COVID-19."
