We are going long Logitech (LOGI) on the open. Logitech has traded lower on light volume recently after consolidating for the past couple of months. LOGI is back to its .618 retracement of its entire move higher coming out of the COVID lows.

We are buying LOGI as of this newsletter being published. Our stop will be $66.42, which is just under its recent lows, as well as the lows from September of 2020.

We got a nice pop in CGC after we initiated our position, but have seen it fail yet again. Keep your stop in place at $5.47.

WMT has been one of the strongest stocks in the market recently, making new highs while growth stocks get punished.

MCD has also faired relatively well recently considering the market action.

DIS and UBER continue to struggle and chop around near their .618 of the move higher. Eventually there will be a rotation into the stocks that had been hurt most during COVID, but that time has not come yet.

The 10 year is currently yielding 2.75% up from about 1.5% to start the year, and it doesn't look like its done going higher any time soon. There will be pauses and pull backs but I still see higher yields coming at us over the next 6-12 months.

We get CPI data for the month of March tomorrow at 8:30am ET. The expectation is for a headline rise of 8.4%. The market already knows the number is going to be huge. I will be more interested in the core number, which takes out food and energy, as the energy component will likely skew the numbers dramatically to the upside and the market may dismiss a miss if it has to do with oil. The core number is expected to rise 6.6%, which is still an amazing number when you consider the impact of food and energy on our lives, and even without those 2 components prices are still up almost 7% on the year.

JPM kicks off the bank earnings on Wednesday morning before the market open, and Thursday before the open we get many of the other big players including WFC, GS, MS, STT, and C. We also Albertsons (ACI) and CarMax (KMX) tmorrow before the open, and Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY), and Delta Air Lines (DAL) on Wednesday morning, among others reporting this week.

Bank earnings start this week and then we really get into the thick of it over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates!

The price action in Notes continues to push to lower price and higher yield. Even as it is oversold, the trend is still lower.

Disney has traded lower again back to near its 618 area, where it has previously found support.

Uber continues to consolidate near its .618 of its larger move. We need a sign of strength in Uber.

WMT has accelerated higher to new all times highs recently as investors flee to safety. WMT has a 1.43% dividend.

MCD bounced nicely from the .382 of its larger move. MCD has some nice price action to the upside recently but the volume has been light. We'd like to see a nice pop with strength. MCD has a 2.20% dividend.

CGC has pulled back on light volume. Keep your stop in place at $5.47.
