The Tiger Forex Report – Week of 02/09 – 02/13/2026

The DXY is pressing strong resistance, and there may be a sharp pull back soon. The Bears are ready to pounce and slap the USD back to support.

Crude Oil is trading in the upper band of the range trade that has kept this market in limbo. A slip back to support around $60 - $58 a barrel is very likely.

Will the 30yr T-Bond market breakout of its range? Bearish Break? Bullish Rally? Odds are good that the Interest Rates as a whole will be in a Buy Break posture for the next few months.

EURUSD Weekly Outlook:

It has been a crazy year so far for the EURUSD. Key off Friday’s low. Trading above here could have this market in a holding pattern as it digests the volatility of the last few weeks. Odds are pretty good that this is a corrective slide, and a big rally to challenge the recent high is not a far-fetched idea. The upside resistance band will be the big hurdle to cross. Be careful if the market gets back to this area. Upside momentum is expected to build and press new monthly highs. As far as the Bears are concerned, the downside target level should be the extreme if there is another hit on support. Fundamentals just do not warrant a solid trend dive into lower levels, unless it is a spike low liquidity flush. Do not get caught in that.

GBPUSD Weekly Outlook:

Friday the GBPUSD stamped a lower move low with a solid close. Is this the beginnig of a turn? Could be. The markets bias is expected to be Bullish above the recent low, and the downside support band seems to be a solid base. Trend dynamics are pointing upwards, and the recent slide is considered a profit taking pull-back. Odds are in favor of the Bulls taking charge and making a play for the upside resistance band. If there is going to be a failure for the Bulls this area is most likely where it will occur. Trading above this zone, however, is a very positive indication that the buying momentum is building and the downside flushing may be over. Take this into consideration if you are going to get Bearish. If this FX pair sustains a trade above the upside resitance band new monthly highs are very posible.

USDCHF Weekly Outlook:

Can we say get ready to press the trend lower? There may be another run for higher move highs, but it will most likely be a spike high. If it occurs at all. Use the last swing high for direction. Trading below here is a good sign that the Bears are going to hammer support again. Watch the downside support band carefully. If the market falls below this area the Bears could see a high payout on their positions. Should the last swing low fall apart the downside target level should not be too difficult to reach. Long-term the USDCHF is a Big Bear! Keep this in mind no matter what happens with the USD in the months to come. Only a close above the last swing high would change the outlook in the short-term for a most likely spike high situation with the upside target level being the extreme for a blow off rally.

USDJPY Weekly Outlook:

Be careful all of you Bulls out there in the USDJPY. A head-fake situation may be brewing. USD strength is not expected to hold out, and as soon as there is a break in Crude Oil this FX pair is likely to take one on the chin hard and fast. If this happens there is a very good chance that the Bears will start to have their way and start to hit support. The downside support band is a viable area that this currency may fall back to. There is a good chance that there may be a bounce in this area and a digestive range trade may unfold. Long-term this market is expected to head back to the 152.50 area before June. This is something to keep in mind as we head into the end of the 1st Quarter, and get ready for the new FED chairman. Only a sustained trade above the upside target level would confirm the Bulls strength and ability to make a run at new monthly highs.

AUDUSD Weekly Outlook:

AUDUSD Bulls are on the move and looking for another run at the highs. If the market can breach the upside resistance band again there is a good chance that the upside target level could be reached. The odds are on the side of the Bulls unless there is a very strong show of strength in the USD. Watch the DXY. Should the Index get a strong rally in motion and cut through resistance sharply, then the Bears could get a nice corrective profit taking break in motion. If this develops, the downside support band should set a floor for a lower trading market. Only a close below this area would confirm weakness and extend the Bearish momentum. Should the USD catch a serious “Bid,” the downside target level should be the extreme for overzealous selling pressure.

NZDUSD Weekly Outlook:

Friday the Bulls reversed the downtrend in a big way off the downside support band. This is a good indication that the market is set to press resistance again. A run at the last swing high is expected this week. It will be a key area to breach. There is strong pressure keeping the market back in the upside resistance band. Should there be a close above here it is very reasonable that the Bulls can hit the upside target level in a short amount of time. If you are a Bear, it would be wise to wait for a valid sell signal, or else you may be just cannon fodder. Should there be a close below Friday’s low, then the downside target level will be the objective to aim for if you are looking to press the recent correction lower.

USDCAD Weekly Outlook:

The trend is a Bear, and the recent correction may be over. Friday the market bounced off the upside resistance band and more selling pressure is expected. USDCAD traders are more likely to see a lower trade soon. USD strength is waning and is expected to fall apart soon. If this scenario is correct the Bears have a good shot at not just sparking another break, but the momentum is likely to build and help plant new move lows before the month is out. Watch the DXY for an indication of USD strength. If the Index falls apart, then this currency should be ripe for a strong power move to the downside. Trading down in this area could set the longer-term Bear trend traders into a frenzy as expectations could get crazy.
