The Tiger Forex Report – Week of 03/09 – 03-14/2026

The DXY is off and running as the conflict in Iran continues. This is a news driven rally that is most likely overdone, and a sharp reversal is in the cards.

Crude Oil Bulls are taking the volatility to new extremes, and it will be a harsh trade this week. Considering how this commodity has opened with a balloon under water rally there is a good chance that a major sell off is immanent.

30yr T-Bonds have taken one on the chin hard lifting Yields fast. Do not try and catch a falling knife, but get ready for a big bounce as we press on toward the end of the 1st quarter.

EURUSD Weekly Outlook:

New move lows to start the week off in the EURUSD is setting the tone. Markets are swinging sharply as volatility spikes. In the short-term this currency is likely to remain in a sell rally posture. Pick your points wisely and keep your expectations rational. A break that targets the downside support band is the call as momentum pushes extremes. Only a close above the upside breakout level would reverse the forecast as the Bulls try and regain control for a corrective move toward the upside resistance band. It is going to be a tough trade this week so make sure to adjust your risk accordingly.

GBPUSD Weekly Outlook:

Talk about a flatliner in the GBPUSD as most makrets are coming unhinged. Another test of support into the downside support band is very likely. A touch-and-go trade is expected as this FX pair tryes to find a bottom. It is advisable to wait for a break to buy or a rally to sell into. The recent trend lower was originally viewd as a correction, and it is posible that when global news settles that the Bulls will lift this market higher in a very quick fassion. If the downtrend is going to remain solid the Bulls will find a ceiling in the upside resistance band. All trading above this area would confirm strength that should not be faded. Use the DXY for a guide of USD strength or weakness.

USDCHF Weekly Outlook:

After some extreme swings the USDCHF may be ready for some digestion. The last swing high found strong resistance and fell back. Momentum is tough to gauge, but another run at newer move highs is the call to see if USD strength is solid. Watch the DXY. If the index is making a run for higher levels, then this currency pair should take out the last swing high. Should the Bears regain control the downside support band could see a retest. Do not fight a slide below here. All trading at these lower levels would indicate that new move lows could reach the downside target level by months end.

USDJPY Weekly Outlook:

With other markets pressing extremes the USDJPY is following suit. A challenge of the upside breakout level is expected. Be careful with Bullish action this week. Bullish momentum could lift this FX pair all the way to the upside target level. Only a failure from the last swing low would reverse the outlook as the Bears fall back for a test of the downside support band. If there is a close below this area it would be a strong indication that momentum is shifting which would leave the downside target level in the market’s sights. Crude Oil is helping to lift this currency to new move highs, but this could also snap back fast. Be prepared for a harsh sell off should there be a return to weakness in the USD. Markets tend to go out the way they came in so be prepared for a sharp turn of events.

AUDUSD Weekly Outlook:

Weakness prevails across the Forex pairs against the USD. This is one market that is not reacting as harshly as others. A tight trade is on the menu for the week ahead. You have been warned. The likelihood of range trade conditions is high. Between the upside resistance band and the downside support band it is expected to be a rough trade. Wait for a valid signal and use the DXY as an indicator for USD strength and weakness. If there is a major move there will be an update. There are many pairs to trade this week, but this is one market to avoid until there is clarity on market momentum.

NZDUSD Weekly Outlook:

The downside support band is holding the NZDUSD afloat. Get ready for another test of the last swing low. Be careful fading the Bears. Selling momentum is likely to build again and extend the trend lower toward the downside target level. This is all that is likely for a follow through break. Trading above the downside support band puts a halt to the slide, but most likely a digestive range trade will develop. Only a rally above the upside resistance band would reverse the outlook and confirm that the long-term trend is back under the Bulls control. It is going to be a rough week folks, and capital preservation is key. Volatility is so erratic that the best advice is to tread lightly and exercise patience.

USDCAD Weekly Outlook:

The range trade is over in the USDCAD, and another test of support is likely. Watch out. If there is a close below the downside support band new monthly lows are expected. This makes the downside target level the first stop on a break that could hit 1.3320 before March is through. Trading above the downside support band puts this market in limbo for a range trade back to the upside resistance band. It is likely that this area will put a cap on a Bullish move. The upside target level is the extreme for Bullish action this week unless there is major rally in the DXY. Hang on to your hats this week and make sure to exercise discipline. If there is anything that is sure to be put to the test it is a trader’s ability to stay disciplined in the days ahead.
