The Tiger Forex Report – Week of 02/03 – 02/07/2025

The DXY is on the move. Get ready for some big swings this week.

Crude Oil is snaking along support, but it looks like it wants to spark a profit taking rally.

30yr T-Bond is past the FED and Yields look like they want to go higher.

EURUSD Weekly Outlook:

Look out it is a rollercoaster ride. The EURUSD is taking one on the chin to start the week off. Bearish pressure is in full force setting this currency up for making new move lows on the Daily chart. This is a big deal folks. If the Bears get a new low in place, it is a big indication that the market is set to pound new lows and resume the long-term trend lower. We have been calling for parity this year and it is very likely that the market will start reaching for this area. Only a rally above the upside correction zone would reverse this outlook and give the Bulls a shot at making a play for the upside target level. Yields would need to soften in a big way for this to happen though most likely.

GBPUSD Weekly Outlook:

GBPUSD traders have a tough start to the week. The market is on its heels and set for more support bashing. Another test of the critical downside correction area is very likely. Do not try and buy into this slide if Yields remain firm. Downside momentum is expected to build and drive the market toward new move lows. Do not take a lower trading market lightly. Bearish selling pressure has the potential to send this curency down to the 1.2000 level. 1.1750 is the extended downside objective. Only a close above the upside breakout level would change this outlook. If this occurs there will be an update.

USDCHF Weekly Outlook:

The Swissie is on a mission to lift this currency up toward new move highs. Be cautious selling into this move. If the Bulls resume the trend, it would be an indication that the buying pressure could lift this market up to the 0.9350 level. Look out for a spike high move, and watch Yields. If Yields remain firm it would signal the Bulls that the overall trend is back on track. 0.9525 is the extended upside objective. Only a failure from the downside breakout level would reverse this outlook. If there is a close below here there will be an update.

USDJPY Weekly Outlook:

Choppy trading ahead is the call for this market. USDJPY traders will most likely have a tough trade this week. Use last weeks low for the base for direction. Trading below here would be a good sign that the market is going to try and drag the market back to the critical BOJ threshold level. Watch Crude Oil this week for directional bias. If Crude goes lower the USDJPY should start to fall under pressure. A rally above the critical resistance band is the only thing that would most likely reverse gears for this currency and get the long-term Bull trend back in gear. If this occurs there will be an update.

AUDUSD Weekly Outlook:

Holy knock down punch Batman! The AUDUSD is getting hit hard to start the week. If there is going to be a bounce it is most likely going to happen soon. Wait for a valid signal if you are a Bull. This sell off should not be taken lightly. Selling pressure has the strength to keep this currency trending toward the long-term Bearish target. This is a valid outlook that is reinforced by many economic fundamentals. The Aussie economy is in turmoil and has no life line in sight. A close above the upside breakout level is the only thing that would change the negative outlook, and there will be an update if this occurs.

NZDUSD Weekly Outlook:

Bam! The NZDUSD Bears are on the move hard to start this trading week off. As long as there is no major shift in momentum, the market should keep falling lower with the downside target band becoming a valid sell off area to aim for. Fundamentals are helping to steer this currency toward this area. Rallies in the short-term are viewed as selling opportunities for the week ahead. Only a close above the upside correction band would change this forecast and set this market for a big corrective move that targets the upside breakout level.

USDCAD Weekly Outlook:

The trend is your friend…but gee what a rally. This currency has gone parabolic to start the week. Sustained trading above the critical resistance band would be an extremely Bullish indication that the Bulls are not going to let up on carving out new move highs until the 1.5000 area is threatened. Extreme as it may sound, fundamentals point in this direction. Watch for higher Yields. If this develops the Bulls are in a good position to maintain the extreme vertical slope for the Bullish trend. Only a close below the current upside breakout level would revers the current outlook and give the Bears a chance at extending a reversal toward the downside correction band.
