The Tiger Forex Report – Week of 03/24 – 03/28/2025

The DXY is digesting the current downtrend, and a bounce may be the call early in the week.

Crude Oil is in a range trade but the Bears should regain control of the trend soon.

30yr T-Bond Yields are in a tug-o-war. More of the same is likely this week.

EURUSD Weekly Outlook:

EURUSD Bulls are ready to make a play for the upside early in the week. This is most likely going to be a rally to sell. Another challenge of the upside target #1 is expected. If there is a close above this area it would be a good indication that the Bulls are going to make another go at a fresh leg higher for the trend. UTL #2 is the extended upside objective. Sustained trading below the upside target #1 would be an indication that this FX pair is running out of steam. This would then put the downside breakout level in the Bears sights.

GBPUSD Weekly Outlook:

GBPUSD traders are looking to make a play for another new move high. Key off last week’s high. A breach of this level confirms Bullish strength and the likelyhood of extending the current trend up toward the UTL #2. Sustained trading below last week’s high, however, would be a sign that the market is set to fall back into the downside correction zone. This is a key area supporting the trend, and it should hold up any pullback to support. The monthly directinoal pivot level is the extreme for any Bearish reversal of fortune.

USDCHF Weekly Outlook:

Get ready for a choppy trade this week. The Bulls have a shot at pressing resistance up into the critical range trading band. This should put a cap on a higher trade this week. Most likely any strength in the USD will be short lived this week. A failure from the downside breakout level on the other hand should have the market testing the downside target level #1 in a heartbeat. Be careful not to try and catch a falling knife. The DTL #2 is a viable longer-term trend objective if Yields start to really fall back.

USDJPY Weekly Outlook:

USDJPY Bulls are on the move and looking to get above the critical BOJ threshold at the 150.00 level. Be cautious selling into this area. Upside momentum has the potential to build above here as fresh buying could drive this currency up toward the longer-term objective which is the upside breakout level. This should be the extreme for any extended push higher. Fundamentals just do not support any market action above this area. Sustained trading below the 150.00 level would be an indication that the market is going to get choppy as it digests the recent Bearish trend. The monthly directional pivot level is the longer-term Bearish sell target.

AUDUSD Weekly Outlook:

The AUDUSD is looking to be a tough one this week. More rangebound action is in the cards for the week ahead. There is a high potential for an early challenge of resistance this week. Last week’s high is the key. A rally above here is needed to confirm strength in the market. This is a pivotal breakout area for this market. Trading above here should trigger fresh buying and drive this market up toward the upside correction zone. Only a failure from the downside breakout level would confirm a fresh trend move is under way. If this occurs there will be an update.

NZDUSD Weekly Outlook:

NZDUSD Bulls are most likely going to make a play for last week’s high. Key off this area for the market’s bias. A rally above here should set this currency up to challenge the upside breakout level. If this develops there is a good chance that the trend may be back in play setting the Bulls up for a longer-term trend objective. This would make the upside target level #2 a viable objective. If the market can not get above the upside correction band the forecast will change. Sustained trading in this area probably means there is going to be another sell off that targets the critical pivot level. Should the market close below here there will be an update.

USDCAD Weekly Outlook:

USDCAD traders have another head scratcher week ahead of them. An early test of the downside correction band should occur. The real Bearish test will be the downside breakout level. If the Bears can get below here there should be a fresh wave of selling that targets the downside target level #1. If this occurs it would be a very good sign that volatility is kicking up its heels. Some big swing trades are likely to develop then. If the USD gets a surge this week, then there may be a rally. However, it is not expected to sustain itself. The critical resistance area should be the extreme for any show of strength over the next week.
